Emotion: Comfortable
Vis Comm Photographs
This page is dedicated to an assignment dedicated to displaying pictures that describe how photographs are connected to emotions, as well as how they can relate to the visual cues of color, form, depth, and movement.
Visual Cue #1: Color
One of the most comfortable colors to me is green, because it always associated with calming atmospheres, such as nature. It is also very restful to the eye and the rest of the senses. Seeing the leaves around campus is a very nice way to calm myself if I have a rough day.
Visual Cue #2: Form
As a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, these three letters mean so much to me and have given me a home away from home, something I would never trade for the world.
Visual Cue #3: Depth
I very much took this visual cue in the literal sense, as the depth of the chair accentuates the comfort that can be had by sitting in it. The plush cushions also show how deep of a comfort experience one can have.
Visual Cue #4: Movement
The sound of rain is one of the most comforting sounds in the world, so seeing the movement of the droplets is always something that calms me down, no matter the circumstances.
